"I want to get in shape. I've experimented with online diets, but what about keto? Is a ketogenic diet high in fat the key to losing weight?

According to AWOL Fitness' Health and Wellness Coach Lynch Hunt, ketogenic diets can be successful in helping people lose weight.

According to Hunt, the diet is high in fat, low in carbohydrates, and intended to maintain ketosis in the body. "Your body breaks down fat more quickly and reduces its insulin levels when it enters ketosis. The ideal diet for you will rely on your preferences and lifestyle, so keep that in mind even though it sounds fantastic and you're probably sold.

Before beginning a specialized diet like the ketogenic diet, Hunt advises speaking with a medical professional or registered dietician. 

They will always be able to assist you in locating a customized strategy that fits your objectives, tastes, and state of health," stated Hunt.
